I saw a mention of this book The World Without Us the other day and looked it up. It sounds really interesting. Apparently if humans disappeared the world would do just fine except for maybe a few animals that are already on the edge of extinction. Of course a few animals and bugs that pretty much depend on humans would also end up disappearing eventually. Lice and dogs were mentioned. I think most folks pretty much figured that out already though. Could be a few things I haven't thought of though. Might get this book just to see.
