Thanks to everyone who nominated my last entry and to those who made comments. That made me feel really good. Just don't expect it to happen on a regular basis

Yesterday I went out to the animal shelter. The lady who runs it has one of her brothers staying there for a while now. He and the other guy got into an argument..about god LOL. It seemed so danged silly to me. The whole things started from a mention of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash..I had told them that I love the Carter Family music..and was trying to tell the guy who they were..thats how it got to June Carter..anyway the one made a statement that Johnny Cash wouldn't have lived so long if it were not for June..that she was instrumental in helping him get more or less straight and get his act toghether..the other guy then said...no she wasn't..it was god did that...and they were off! Ended up with name calling and stupid statements made..and the really silly part was they both basically believe t he same thing and were saying the same thing...just neither of them really listening to the other and the way the said what they said just offended the other.

My problem with this is basically with the guy who was supposedly on Gods side..a believer in the bible..in jesus..supposedly a christian. Now I don't remember everything in the bible but I don't think Jesus ever behaved like that. And I don't think he advocated such behavior..not do I think it would incline anyone to become a christian who wasn't already. I guess what I am saying is that if people are obviuosly not practicing what they preach they should just stop preaching. Or at least not preach in front of me. It's just gonna irritate me and make me think bad things.

Not really sure I made a lot of sense with that..but gonna post it anyway. Now you can tell me why I am wrong..or not lol. Have a good day anyway
