The horse lost three of her shoes so I had the other taken off and hooves trimmed. She is only in that large pasture for now anyway.

I have been busy driving a guy back and forth to work and feeding dogs at the shelter. Places are calling from all over needing space to put animals rescued from Katrina. Our shelter is full at the moment. If any of you live in north east arkansas there are lots of animals needing homes right now. This is a no kill shelter so any animal taken in stays untill it's adopted. Some of them just stay there. It's the green county animal farm if you are looking for a pet. Or want to make donations. Food and kitty litter is always needed and right now garbage bags are needed. Oh and some brushes for cleaning the water pails too. Actually a few of those will need replacing soon. Anyway thats where I have been lately. I have not had a chance to log on the computer for long.

Not sure how the horse will work out there either. I really need a better pasture for her..but she is keeping an old horse company and I think he would be unhappy if she was moved and he wasn't. I will have to think about it.

All of my family in south alabama are ok. And all is well here too. Hope I have more time to post soon. You all take care.
