There is a burn ban now for my area. It's so danged dry and hot that a fire could get started easy. And there are lots of woods around here. Lots of pine and cedar trees. Fire would not be good. Hopefully it will cool off and rain before too long. The grass is starting to die in some places.

It's easy to get overheated and sick right now too. And dehydration is a real problem if you are outside for long. Plenty of water is needed. So if you are out in this heat...DRINK!! No alcohol mind ya!
