Water, water, everywhere
Too bad my camera isn't working right anymore. There are fields here under water with some houses looking like they were built in a lake out in the middle. Lots of water. Too bad we can't pipe water from where there is too much to where there is too little. By the way...why can't we do that exactly?
Joyous Spring
I'm reading a book about Outrageous Joy by Charles Swindoll. I'm still on the first chapter. It seems really good though. I liked one bit where he talked about a man who gave his business to god so he could stop stressing over it..and it burned down that night..an employee asked him how he could smile..he said he gave it to god and if god wanted to burn it down..that was his business. I like that.
While I was typeing my mom came in. She had a bunch of flower seeds to plant in my yard. So we went out and planted a whole of things. I don't even remember what all they were. I remember foxglove and coxcombe. And a wildflower mix. She had several other kinds though. We planted some around the trees I transplanted a few days ago and I watered the trees while we were at it.
I also recieved some mint plants yesterday from Burgess Seed and Plant Co. and planted those yesterday. Two of them are in flower beds. The spearmint in front of the porch and the peppermint at the end of the trailer by the carport. The other one I tried to put at the other end of the trailer under the big windows that I like to leave open when the weather permits. I had to put it in a plastic cool whip container for now though because the dog pulled it up. I looked all over the yard for it hopeing she hadn't chewed it up and just when I was about give up on it there it was..right in front of the steps. Apparently she didn't like the taste of it because she just dropped it without doing any damage to it. I will replant it outside after I get a piece of fence to put in front of it.
Thats all the news from here for the moment. Hope all is well with you!

Spring Planting
Thats what I have been doing the past few days. Transplanting trees and planting some berries and roses. The flowers are almost ready. Then in a couple of weeks tomatoes and whatever else gets added. It's fun and it keeps me from doing spring cleaning LOL.
American Idol has a songwriting contest. I didn't completely understand the terms and conditions but it seems like a good deal. I was thinking about entering. Only problem is the music part. Still 9 days left though.
zootoo.com has a contest where folks can help their local animal shelters win a makeover. Go check it out.
Have a great day!

Midnight Meltdown
I pretty much lost my mind last night. Threw a vase..which broke of course. It missed the window but hit the edge of the sill and broke a piece of wood off. The vase had a lot of little marble like glass decorations in it which went everywhere of course. It also had some old flower petals and shells. It made a huge mess. While trying to clean that up I got more frustrated and irritated and knocked over the little shelf that had my little pots of plants started in them. And some candle holders and a few other knickknacks. Most of the things were fine except for one candle holder top that broke. The plants went everywhere
some had dirt on their roots still but some didn't. At that point I realized I was totally nuts. And just stopped for a few minutes and went and got R to help. The plants are now back in their pots and hopefully will recover. They are all mixed up now and I have no idea which is which. Thats not a problem if they keep growing cause it will show eventually. The rest of the mess is almost cleaned up now.
I talked to a friend of mine who has always had a temper problem. He told me that when I start getting frustrated or irritated or downright angry to sit down and write it out. Sounds like a good idea. Hopefully I will remember when I need to.
